Takara is a creative-manufacturing partner based in Ho Chi Minh City. Bring a signed license or a design brief, and Takara delivers finished, shelf-ready merchandise: plush, soft goods, hard goods and corporate gifts.
Every order goes to a partner factory in Vietnam or China that Takara has vetted for quality, safety testing, working conditions and design protection.
You get one accountable partner from the first sketch to the container leaving port, and the discipline Japanese licensors taught us: hit the spec exactly.
History
In Ho Chi Minh City, a small e-commerce team learned to do one thing well: put the right product in front of the right person. We launched two sites, Takara.vn for distribution and Mirako.vn for goods under our own brand, and built the anime and merchandise business to around 500 organic orders a day.
Pokémon noticed that reach. We launched our Pokémon merchandise the same day Pokémon Go went live, an official licensee from day one.
We built the Mirako brand and brought the program into more than 230 retail doors across Vietnam, from Ministop and Aeon Mall to Kimdong and Phuong Nam Books. That scale taught us our first lesson: keep every promise a license makes, all the way to the shelf.

That year, we became the OEM manufacturer for Doraemon and Shin-chan, two of Japan's most beloved characters, through Tagger, the long-time master licensee that holds these characters in Vietnam.
Doraemon's face holds an exact ratio: the eyes, the whiskers, the space between them. The blue matches one precise Pantone shade. Off by a fraction, and the character no longer looks like himself.
Japanese licensors don't compromise on those details. They taught us that authenticity means hitting the spec exactly, and that discipline still shapes how we work today.

In 2018, we entered a competitive bid in Shanghai to become ThreeSixty Group's authorized Vietnam sourcing partner, the group behind FAO Schwarz, Sharper Image, and Vornado.
Over two years, ThreeSixty watched how we worked, then brought us through Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong to train alongside factories already certified to export to the United States. We learned the standard on the factory floor, where those factories already met it.
We became ThreeSixty Group's sourcing partner first, then its manufacturer: 85 SKUs across eight categories, from plush toys to travel luggage, for a retail network that includes Walmart and Target.

We had the partnership with ThreeSixty. Now we needed to prove we could execute at scale.
In 2020, we received the order that would define our export capabilities: 120,000 plush dolls, safety-tested and bound for the United States. Closing the deal took time: compliance, production timelines, and the logistics of shipping to some of the world's largest retailers.
We delivered in 2022. That first container was proof: Walmart, Target, and retailers across the US received their products on spec, on time, on budget.
It was our first major export, and our first step from local partner to global one.

Today, Takara works alongside Sotafi, our B2B platform connecting suppliers with buyers across Vietnam and beyond. Takara focuses on sourcing, licensing, and manufacturing, while Sotafi reaches a wider network.
Together, they connect global ambition with local expertise.
Our network runs on relationships, standards, and process. That process gets your product to you on time, on spec, on budget. We still apply the same discipline, once measured in a precise shade of blue, to every product we ship.

Mira is Takara’s water-dragon mascot and Chief Idea Officer. Koko, the little yellow egg she never lets go of, is your idea. Put the two together and you get Mirako, which sounds a lot like miracle.

The name echoes Mirako, Takara’s own brand since 2013.

Approved art files, approved colorways, no gray-market overruns. A licensor’s trust is the least replaceable asset we have.
Bad news on a production schedule reaches a client the day we know it, not the week the shipment is due.
Every closed PO gets a defect-rate review. Recurring issues change the process, and the next run’s inspection checklist is updated to match.
