Bringing an IP to market
Approved art files, licensor-grade audits, and 3-stage QC built for the standard a global IP demands, the same one we've run on Pokémon since 2016.

Both paths above, proven across three milestones.
2016
Pokémon trusted us first. Three months into the rollout, e-commerce sales lifted 35% across 230+ retail doors. That lift set the standard we still hold.
2020
Then the brief changed scale. ThreeSixty Group trusted us with 85 SKUs, from plush to luggage, for a retail network that includes Walmart, Target, and other major US retailers.
2024
Corporate gifts have been a main line for years, often with licensed characters in the mix. 2024 shows the range: a BIDU mascot from sketch to costume in 14 days, and 1,500 Keppel Land gift sets on time in 30.
2025
Seven prototypes in seven days. 23,400 units in 25 days, delivered 30 days ahead of contract. When a launch date cannot move, this is the timeline we work to.
Who we are
Takara began as a small e-commerce team in Ho Chi Minh City in 2013. Thirteen years later, we are the creative-manufacturing partner behind merchandise people love: designed in-house, produced through our vetted partner-factory network, delivered on schedule, sometimes a month early.
Who we serve
We serve the people who own stories and the people who put them on shelves. IP owners like Pokémon and Doraemon. US retail programs like ThreeSixty Group, sourcing 85 SKUs for a retail network that includes Walmart and Target. Movie studios like Galaxy. Corporate clients like Keppel Land.
You bring the story. We make the merchandise.
Case Studies
The milestones above, plus the stories that followed.

Takara has been an official Pokémon licensee in Vietnam since 2016, arriving right as Pokémon Go went global. We built the Mirako brand to distribute Pokémon apparel and plush through 230+ retail doors nationwide: Ministop, Aeon Mall, Kimdong, and Phuong Nam Books. The result: a 35% lift in e-commerce sales within the first three months, establishing the benchmark for licensed-merchandise production in Vietnam.

Takara won a competitive bid in Shanghai to become ThreeSixty Group's authorized Vietnam sourcing agency, the group behind Sharper Image and Vornado. We've managed 85 SKUs across plush toys, remote-control toys, specialty lighting, foam footwear, wooden toys, functional racks, travel luggage, and eco-friendly cut-and-sew goods, for a retail network that includes Walmart, Target, and other major US retailers.
BIDU is the official mascot of World Trade Center Binh Duong New City. Takara took him from concept sketch to finished costume in 14 days, in five sizes, under strict brand-image compliance.

Every story above shipped through a factory we audited first. We manage the entire process ourselves: design, factory vetting, quality control, and delivery, so you get one accountable partner instead of a broker who just forwards quotes. Every factory in our partner network across Vietnam passes the same audit before we ever assign your order. We own the standard, not the floor.
Why Takara
Four pillars that set us apart, from licensing to delivery.
In-house
From the first sketch to the working prototype, the work stays in-house. That's how Biti's Hunter, our signature piece, became a 65cm resin dragon built from 420 miniature shoes, and how we delivered 7 Rohto prototypes in 7 days.
Production
Production runs through our partner network across Vietnam. Each project is matched to the right partner for quality, cost, and timeline, with 3-stage QC before shipping.
Licensing
Pokémon, Doraemon, Shin-chan, One Piece. We know how to keep a licensed design compliant from sketch to shelf.
Strategy
We draw on Vietnam's manufacturing strength to diversify your supply chain and reduce risk, with goods already landing at Walmart, Target, and other major US retailers.

FAQ
MOQ (minimum order quantity) depends on the product type and complexity. For plush toys and soft-goods, MOQ starts at 500 units. For blindbox and other molded or plastic products, MOQ starts at 3,000 units, since a mold has to be built first. Contact us to discuss your specific project.
We need your spec sheet or reference sample. From there, we work with the right partner factory to prepare a detailed FOB quotation covering materials, manufacturing, finishing and packaging. The process typically takes 3 business days.
No, we don't own factories. We are a creative-manufacturing partner. We work through a vetted network of partner factories across Vietnam. We own the whole process, from sourcing and design to quality management and delivery, ensuring your standards are met at every step.
Send your spec sheet or reference sample. We'll come back with itemized FOB pricing, a production calendar, and the vetting report for the factory we'd assign. Tell us your launch date. We'll build to it.
