[Ask Takara directly](https://takarahq.com/contact) . **What are the minimum order quantities?** Plush and soft goods start at 500 pieces per design for Vietnam, and 1,000 per design for export. Ready-made OEM catalogue patterns start at 500 pieces and can be mixed across designs. Molded figures and blind boxes start at 3,000 pieces to cover tooling. Corporate gift sets start at 100 to 300 sets. **How long do sampling and production take?** A typical sample takes about 10 days and mass production about 30 days, depending on the product and quantity. For Rohto’s blind-box launch, R1 samples of the first 3 designs came in 7 days and 23,400 units were delivered 25 days ahead of contract. **Does Takara own the factories?** No. Takara is a creative-manufacturing partner: it designs, samples and manages production through a network of vetted partner factories in Vietnam and China, each audited on quality, labor, environment and production integrity before work is assigned. **How is our IP protected?** An NDA is signed before any artwork, 3D file or style guide changes hands, and production runs only at the assigned partner factory. Takara has produced licensed merchandise for The Pokémon Company and for Tagger, the master licensee of Doraemon, Shin-chan and One Piece in Vietnam. **Which safety standards can products meet?** Partner factories produce to international toy-safety standards such as EN71 and ASTM F963, and hold audits such as BSCI, SMETA or FAMA. Lab testing for your destination market is arranged through accredited labs. **What are the payment and delivery terms?** Payment terms are set in each contract and tailored to the order, typically a deposit to start production and the balance before handover. Delivery follows Incoterms 2020 as agreed: EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP.
